Today I walked in high heal shoes from Ultimo to North Sydney. In total maybe 8 km… Why? dont ask me, my feet just kept walking and I ended up on the other side of the bridge.

Zoo

Went to the Aussie Zoo today. Its up in Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast. Saw some great anacondas, crocodiles, emus, koalas and of course kangaroos. Great time for photography. It was a shame I had forgotten to recharge my battery. The camera went down way too soon. I have put some of the tiger-pictures in the gallery. I like Tigers, they are very beautiful big cats.

Geocaching

Found my first Geocache today. Quite fun actually and a very good way of getting to know a new area (or explore unknown places in your neighbourhod).
Geocaching (pronounced geo-cashing) is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology and then share the geocache’s existence and location online. Anyone with a GPS device or a good sense for orientation can then try to locate the geocache.

I had tried on finding three caches before I finally found one that was hidden just beneath the summit of Eildon Hill. It was quite a walk but worth every step. Amazing views and I found the cache safe and sound. Looking forward to find my next one and maybe hide one myself! :D

On my walk I passed an even greater Beetle than pictured yesterday!
